Full Course or Scan Only
Full Course has everything you need for IP certification: online precourse, EDE or EDE2 course, scans and exams.
Scan Only is for people who have already attended an EDE or EDE2 course but need to complete scans and exams for IP certification. Those registered for this option do not attend on the first day of the bootcamp. There is a $500 discount for this option.
If it has been more than 1 year since completing the EDE or EDE2 course, we recommend doing the Full Course.
CPOCUS Registration
The independent practitioner (IP) exams are administered via the CPOCUS (Canadian Point of Care Ultrasound Society) website, and they are the issuing authority for your certification. As such you need an active membership (just the $25) with them before you come on the course.
You will need your login for CPOCUS to write the exam – so make sure you have your login details and have paid your membership fees. After you are certified they will request another $100 to issue you a certificate.
Additional Course Materials
In addition to your EDE or EDE2 pre-course materials, there is additional content on the CPOCUS website that is found on the certification exams. We encourage you to sign in via your CPOCUS account and review this in advance of the exam.
Additional test preparation and image resources can be found on our resources page.
